About us

ITER-Consult is an expert organization that provides independent evaluation and review in the field of nuclear and radiation safety for design, construction, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, with the final objective to ensure protection of workers, public and environment.

ITER-Consult was created in Rome, Italy in June 2003, having the legal status of a Private Limited Company (Ltd.) and enrolled at the C.C.I.A.A. in Rome on 15.07.03 N.1041831 with Fiscal Code N.07582371006.

According to the statement of Board of Members of the Organization, officially registered at the C.C.I.A.A. in Rome n° 0400031155/01 on 24.02.04, ITER-Consult is acting as non-commercial and non-profit organization.

The organization is non governmental, not state funded, financed through contracts for national and international activities and it is not involved (in order to retain independence) in activities of industries and utilities that can conflict with support to nuclear regulatory authorities (NRAs).
